Yesterday we had another new volunteer join the Tuesday Crew: Kayli O’Hara Vest who is standing next to one of the bins of cobbles with Nancy Taylor Walker below:
Placing cobbles is one of the more labor-intensive jobs at the garden, but the end result is very rewarding. It also helps visitors in areas where paths are not always well-defined. The crew decided to take on this job as the major activity for the day. Beverly Kemmerling, Irene Rowland, Katie Shank, Daryl Stutley, Kayli, Nancy, Janet Wall and Ann Wright were on hand to cart cobbles to the main trail trough the Trail of Trees.

To complete the picture, Ed Merlo was on site, coming on a Tuesday again, to get some pruning done before the rains. Bill Dobner was also on site managing the compost, and Jim Cyr was arriving as the Tuesday Crew were departing.
